Dave has added hundreds of trees and shrubs to the nursery this year. He puts in hours of work but every now and again the family comes together to help out. It usually entails a little bit of planting and a whole lot of crazy. Last week we spent an evening planting marigold plugs, transplanting tomato starts, and planting/tagging trees.
The nursery has a sense of peace and tranquility. We not only enjoy the location and working outside but the company isn't too bad either. Truthfully, it's one of our greatest blessings to be able to work side by side as a family. Of course it wasn't all work, the new baby goat born less than 24 hours earlier stole the night - more to come on that in the next post.
